are we a good fit?
If you've made it to this page, you're probably trying to figure out whether to take the next step — and whether I'm the right person to take it with. That's a reasonable thing to want to know before reaching out.
Here's what I can tell you.
who tends to find their way to me
The people I work with don't always have a tidy explanation for why they're struggling. What they often share is a sense that something keeps replaying — in their relationships, in how they feel about themselves, in patterns they can see but can't seem to change. Sometimes the pain is quiet and hard to name. Sometimes it's been there so long it just feels like part of who they are.
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out or neatly articulated. A lot of the work is making sense of things together, over time.
If it helps to have some language for what you're carrying, you can explore the areas I work with.
what my approach asks of you
My approach isn't structured or directive — there's no homework, no worksheets, no predetermined order of how therapy should go. The work happens in the room, between us, at a pace that allows for reflection and uncertainty.
Between sessions, I hold a lot of space for the work we do together — which means I'm not typically available for ongoing connection outside of our sessions. Most of what we do, we do in the room. For a lot of people, that container is actually part of what makes the work feel safe. And part of what we work toward together is equipping you with support tailored to you and your needs so that the space between sessions feels manageable, even when life feels heavy.
