my approach

what’s it like in session?

In my work with adults in Austin and across Texas, I aim to create space that feels steady, grounded, and unhurried. My role is to create a space where you can explore and process safely and honestly.

I get curious about your journey and what it feels like to be you. This might involve talking things through, sitting with difficult emotions, or discussing concepts that relate to your experience — like trauma, family dynamics, social and cultural expectations, or human development.

My work is trauma-informed, which means we move at a pace that supports nervous system regulation and emotional safety rather than pushing for insight too quickly.

  • I often ask “How does that feel in your body?”

  • When I notice connections, I’ll offer them as possibilities, and we can always revise or explore other interpretations together

  • I’m comfortable sitting in silence

  • I don’t give advice, but I’m open to sharing my personal reactions if that feels helpful

  • Your values and worldview guide the direction of our work

framework & modalities

You are the expert in your own life, and I'm here to help you reach your goals — not the goals I set for you. Whatever your values, your experiences, and your vision for your life: I’m into it. I want to understand how to see the world through your eyes. If you're struggling to express what you want, we can start there to help you find your voice.

My work is informed by relational cultural theory, systems theory, narrative therapy, somatic and experiential approaches, parts work, and expressive arts therapy. These frameworks offer different ways of understanding your experiences. But the relationship between us remains central.
